Title: Product Developer
Location: Johannesburg

Purpose:
To represent the voice of the client, customer & consumer and contribute to the Product Vision and Strategy, to meet their needs. Supports the Product Office in maintaining and prioritising the requirements funnel, providing the DevOps and Data team with the required information on what needs to be delivered and in which order. Translating product needs and requirements into deliverable units of work—Epics/Features/Stories, based on value, the agreed roadmap or customer’s pain points.

Description but not limited to:

• Support the Product Office in the management and prioritisation of work in the requirements funnel and working with the DevOps and
• Data teams to schedule the work into sprints.
• Contribute to creating value for clients, customers, consumers and building a delivery roadmap.
• Ensure business requirements are clarified and detailed, including acceptance criteria.
• Work in collaboration with the business or customers to establish requirements in the form of user stories.
• Together with the Product Office responsible to deliver the value of the Product through the entire product life cycle.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, policies, standards and laid down procedures, including control procedures aimed at mitigating risks.
• Conduct market and user research.
• Manage Net Promoter Score tool.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification
• 5-8 years’ experience in an e-commerce product environment, customer- focused technology on the edge of business and IT.
