• Make commercial contacts with customers, prepare proposals from the data received and validated by the various areas involved in the Company, when necessary to review the quotations and resubmit to finalize the process.
• Analyze technical documentation of customers” products, such as mathematical models in the systems (CAD, Unigrafics and Catia), drawings and standards, in order to verify that this data is sufficient for the correct quotation of the product.
• Elaborate list of materials, components and services for the quotation of products to make up the cost break-down costs, as well as responsible for the preparation of the cost break-down of costs of processes under development, in order to carry out price adjustments to the customer, when necessary.
• Analyze and elaborate studies of industrial processes in use in the unit for the quotation processes under development.
• Carry out the activities of quotation of materials, components and services necessary for the composition of the projects in quotation, with the Purchasing department, providing the list of these materials and provide technical support as to the doubts of suppliers.
• Perform the critical analysis of contracts and contractual amendments, observing the data contained in the client”s request, comparing with those of the proposal presented and lastly, with those resulting from the negotiation.
• Receive and distribute internally requests for quotation of new products and or modifications of those already in production.
• Analyze and evaluate the demands of customers for cost reduction and prepare proposals for price adequacy face increases in costs of materials, services and taxes.
• Analyze and elaborate sales price adjustments due to changes in labor costs, materials, components and services purchased, as well as conduct negotiations of new prices and calculations of values that may be received retroactively.
• Monitor the development of new items and implementation of modifications of the products being provided.
• Prepare and distribute release document for product development and modifications to interested sectors.
• Participate in the planning meetings of daily work, referring to the requests of customers, aiming at meeting the deadlines established with them, among others.
• Prepare and execute the update of reports and indicators of the sector, monitoring and analyzing results, in order to ensure compliance with procedures, goals, and necessary corrective actions.
• Comply with the legislation, as well as the Company”s institutional norms and policies, with suppliers and external agencies, ensuring due ethical behavior in the relationship with business partners, as well as compliance with established standards, and ensuring the Company”s assets

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing environments. Automotive Industry is a plus.
• Financial knowledge or background
• Reading and Interpretation of drawing
• APQP
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or similar
• Minimum of 4 years of experience on Cost Estimation
• Ability to do product cost  structure analyzis
