The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection on detailed parts using a wide variety of measuring instruments specially CMM to determine acceptability or rejection of parts.

Responsibility & Authority:

• Assist the QC/Lab and Metrology / Engineer and support the quality and manufacturing areas in quality assurance/
• engineering and inspection functions;
• Participate with Manufacturing Engineering and Tooling to assists in developing FMEA’s, Process Flow Charts, and
• Inspection Control Plans. Assure that quality requirements are understood and attainable.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications related to geometric tolerancing, gauging, statistical requirements and related
• Develop for QC and Manufacturing inspection plans and methods including fixture and gage design. Program Vision/CMM
• Implement and Maintain Calibration of Equipment.
• Assists in the implementation of QC/QA procedures throughout the department
• Interface with customers, sales and engineering to resolve quality issues. Assist in analyzing customer complaints as a
• member of 8D analysis team.
• Assist training inspectors in methods, statistics, GDT & Vision Systems;

Qualifications and Experience

• NQF level 6 or equivalent in engineering qualification;
• Must have Polyworks, PC DMIS software knowledge and CMM and romer arm experience
• Certificates in dimensional metrology will be added as advantage.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience on a similar role.
